Dr. Ken Romeo, the Chief Clinical Data Coordinator and Board Member of the Healthy Aging Research Foundation, was appointed by Washoe County Nevada Commissioner Jeanne Herman to the Washoe County Senior Services Advisory Board.
Dr. Romeo's term will run from September 1, 2016 to August of 2020.
Dr. Romeo holds a MBA in Finance and PhD in Business Administration from Columbia Pacific University. He received his MD and trained at both the Harvard School of Medicine and the Cleveland Clinic. He is a former team physician with the US Olympic Team at USA Boxing.
In his work at the Healthy Aging Research Foundation, Dr. Romeo developed the capture and interpretation mechanism for the evaluation of quantitative data in the biomedical sciences related to geriatrics and healthy aging. He is an expert in Anti Aging and Anti Inflammatory sciences.
His work is integral to the advancement of knowledge in health policy, clinical medicine, public health, health economics and other disciplines.
"My evaluations and collations include clinical trials and epidemiologic investigations in physical functioning, nutrition and cognitive function, among others. My work therefore supports and is integral to HARF uniquely holistic approach to aging research," says Dr. Romeo.
