Go Fish! – Anti Aging Reno NV – Dr Ken Romeo

Most of us don’t eat enough fish, but our body needs the DHA/EPA that eating fish supplies for maximum health and longevity.

Could we substitute vegetable oil to get enough DHA/EPA? No. Only a fraction of what we need as humans is converted by our body to usable DHA/EPA from vegetable oils.
Solution? Algae and other plants could be genetically modified to produce the necessary DHA/EPA that we need. (1)
While I am not a big fan of genetically modified anything, neither you nor I can predict the future. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to this and that we can manage our finite planetary resources better.
