Apple cider vinegar is the fermented juice of crushed apples. It contains acetic acid and nutrients such as B vitamins and vitamin C.
Here are some of the documented benefits of adding a small amount of apple cider vinegar to your Anti Aging Program:
- Apple cider vinegar might help lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes by changing how foods get absorbed from the gut as the vinegar might prevent the breakdown of some foods.
- Apple cider vinegar is used alone or with honey for weak bones.
- Weight Loss.
- Leg cramps and pain.
- Upset stomach.
- Sore throats.
- Sinus problems.
- High Blood Pressure.
- To help rid the body of toxins.
- Stimulate thinking.
- Slow the aging process.
- Reduce cholesterol.
- Fight infection.
According to WebMD:
"Consuming apple cider vinegar in food amounts is LIKELY SAFE. Apple cider vinegar is POSSIBLY SAFE for most adults when used short-term for medical purposes.
Special Precautions & Warnings:
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Not enough is known about the safety of using apple cider vinegar as medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side, and don’t use it.
Diabetes: Apple cider vinegar might lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. Therefore, blood sugar levels need to be monitored closely. Dose adjustments may be necessary for diabetes medications that are taken." (WebMD)
Apple cider vinegar isn't a budget buster and should be a part of any custom designed anti aging program. A little apple cider vinegar goes a long way.
