Dr Ken Romeo - Anti Aging - Treating Diabetes Naturally - Reno Nevada

OPINION: Dr Ken Romeo   775-870-6942
As my speciality is Anti Inflammatory Sciences, I am going to take a different tact in this Anti Aging post. Diabetes is a serious disease that can be effectively addressed by natural supplementations. This is a well-known fact.
Cinnamon is well studied in Diabetes treatment. Unfortunately, the various types and extracts and wide range of doses mean that the conclusions are not uniform in the current scientific literature. Neither the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health nor the American Diabetes Association recommends the use of cinnamon supplementation as a treatment for diabetes, but that doesn't mean that cinnamon has no place in a diabetic protocol.
Current law bans me from making unsubstantiated claims regarding the use of cinnamon and diabetes, but there is nothing stopping YOU from researching the National Institutes of Health (PUBMED) and drawing your own conclusions.

But check it out...16 studies found that ginseng modestly yet significantly improved fasting blood glucose in people with and those without diabetes. Ongoing research is being conducted by the NCCIH on the potential of standardized ginseng preparations in treating insulin resistance.

For the record, new studies of chromium picolinate concluded that the supplement does not ameliorate insulin resistance or impaired glucose metabolism. At best, when changes in glucose metabolism are observed, individual patient types may be a factor. Chromium picolinate's use in diabetes treatment is not understood at this time.
Also, most studies of fenugreek have lacked sufficient power or quality to conclude any recommendations in diabetic patients. Again, no conclusion can be drawn.
Bottom line: Big Pharma is Big Money. Natural substances can't be patented but may be effective. PLEASE research legitimate medical sources for information like PUBMED and do your homework. Diabetes in many cases can be treated with natural supplementation.
Yours in Health!
