OPINION: Dr Ken Romeo 775-870-6942
Virtually all well constructed anti aging programs include supplementation with various kinds of antioxidants.
But a good anti aging scientist never forgets these important considerations and it's a good reminder for those of you who have not sought professional advise in customizing your anti aging program:
- Patients taking anticancer medications should be warned that antioxidative supplements, such as vitamins C and E, may interfere with those drugs.
- Vitamin K may inhibit the effect of oral coagulants.
- Vitamin B3 may decrease synthesis of LDL cholesterol.
- Vitamin E may block absorption of vitamins A and K.
- You can "overdose" on fat soluble (A, D, E and K) and other vitamins.
